Delisting from the isil (da'esh) & al-qaida Sanctions List
On 9 June 2025, the United Nations Security Council made updates to the ISIL (Da'esh) & Al-Qaida Sanctions List following the removal of an entry by the United Nations Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al‑Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities. Pursuant to Regulation 13(3) of POT-TFR, the Counter Financing of Terrorism Inter-Ministerial Committee hereby circulates the delisting notification to Reporting Institutions, the Public and any other person who may be holding targeted funds or other assets of the delisted person; and provides guidance on actions to be taken following receipt of this Notice.
