Targeted Financial Sanctions Notice No. 7 Of 2025 - Re-Establishment Of 1737 Sanctions List
Pursuant to the process set forth in paragraphs 11 and 12 of the United Nations Security Council resolution 2231 (2015), effective on 27 September at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (28 September 2025 at 3 a.m. East African Time), all provisions of resolutions 1696 (2006), 1737 (2006), 1747 (2007), 1803 (2008), 1835 (2009) and 1929 (2010), have been re-applied in the same manner as they applied before the adoption of resolution 2231 (2015) on 20 July 2015, and 1737 Sanctions List was re-established.
The Counter Financing of Terrorism Inter-Ministerial Committee (the Committee) hereby circulates the communication on the re-establishment of the 1737 Sanctions List, containing the names of 43 individuals and 78 entities, to all natural and legal persons, including reporting institutions within Kenya; and provides guidance on actions to be taken following receipt of this Notice.
