Targeted Financial Sanctions Notice No. 11 of 2025 delisting from the Isil (da'esh) & Al-Qaida Sanctions List
On 6 November 2025, the United Nations Security Council updated the ISIL (Da'esh) & Al-Qaida Sanctions List following the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2799 (2025), removing Syria’s Transitional President and Interior Minister from the List.
Pursuant to Regulation 13(3) of POT-TFR, the Counter Financing of Terrorism Inter-Ministerial Committee hereby circulates the delisting notification to Reporting Institutions, the Public and any other person who may be holding targeted funds or other assets of the delisted person; and provides guidance on actions to be taken following receipt of this Notice.
