Amendments to Entries in the ISIL (Da'esh) & Al-Qaida Sanctions List 2024/7

The United Nations Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities has, on 25 April 2024, enacted amendments to an entry in the ISIL (Da'esh) & Al-Qaida Sanctions List in connection with individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2610 (2021), and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

Accordingly, the Counter Financing of Terrorism Inter-Ministerial Committee hereby circulates the amendments to entries in ISIL (Da’esh) & Al-Qaida Sanctions List to all persons including reporting institutions and provides guidance on actions to be taken following receipt of this notification.
